Hilaire attended Paragon in 2000 through a corporate training program.  Although, she loved her professional grooming career, carpal tunnel inhibited her ability to groom on a daily basis. Her pleasant attitude and ability to communicate clearly landed her back at Paragon as a Lead Instructor. Hilaire's love for people has proven invaluable with the insecurities of adult learning.

Hilaire's biggest asset to our team is her ability and expertise with cats. Having four of her own, she understands the risk groomers take in handling cats. Her techniques and compassion in handling cats is outstanding. She also specializes in special needs pets including geriatric, temperamental and timid pets.  Hilaire has a unique way of always being able to calm even the most excitable pets.  Yes, this little girl was bringing all the strays home to mom! Hilaire is reminding all of us that it doesn't matter how busy we get, we need to stop and remember that the animals are "somebody's family member".

Hilaire has attained her Certified Master Groomer title through IPG.  She competed for the first time in August 2002.

Hilaire is the proud parent of four cats, “Luna” a Jack Russell Terrier and a Cairn Terrier, "Scooter".  She likes to walk, ride her bike, listen to music and collect old books.  She loves roller derby and want to join when she has more free time.
