Marc VanderWal
Instructor - CMG
Marc has always wanted to become a professional pet groomer. In 2004, Marc attended the Pet Owner’s class at the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in order to learn how to groom his own dog. He excelled at grooming. After working at an Automotive Supplier for 15 years, Marc decided to enroll in the Pet Stylist Career Program at the Paragon School. Marc graduated in 2005 and fulfilled his dream of opening his own home based grooming business called “Man’s Best Friend Grooming”.
Marc has had success in the competition ring as well. At the PetQuest 2005 show, Marc, in the Level I division, won Best Profile Award as well as Best in Class with a Miniature Schnauzer in the Terrier/Sporting Breeds class. In 2006, Marc prepared for and passed all the tests to become a Certified Master Groomer . He plans on competing in more grooming competitions with his Miniature Schnauzers in 2007.
Marc very much enjoys working in the pet industry as a business owner and as an instructor. He finds it very rewarding helping others fulfill their dreams. Marc shares his home with Lily and Rudy, his Miniature Schnauzers. When Marc is not working with animals, he loves to go bass fishing. |
