You and your pet will benefit from our progressive training philosophy and exceptional instruction. We have a group of staff and students who absolutely love animals! Our staff and students are compassionate about their studies, the pets and our human clientele. All bathing and trimming is done by the students under the guidance of instructors. Most grooms take between three and four hours to complete. This is based on the size, coat condition, trim style as well as the skill level of the student stylist. Please call us to schedule an appointment for your pet. If you just need your pet’s nails trimmed, we are happy to do that without an appointment during business hours.
Proper pet hygiene is important for your family pet. New client consultations are always free at Paragon! Upon check-in, we thoroughly review what we can or cannot do for your pet on that day. We’ll discuss trim options that will fit your pet's lifestyle and in-between professional appointment care, and we will discuss frequency of professional grooming needs. If you want, we will even teach you how to brush in between appointments!
Routine grooming every 2 to 6 weeks for most pets keeps their skin and coat in peak condition. We have a variety of services at very competitive prices to help you keep your pet looking and smelling wonderful. At Paragon we believe in producing high-quality grooms that you and your pet will love.
Each pet is assigned “a base price” for services performed based on the size, desired trim, and condition of the pet. Our goal is to assist you in maintaining your pet in its optimum condition from a hygienic and styling standpoint.
This program is designed to fit the needs of most pets and their owners. If your pet is considered a ‘member of the family,’ sharing your home and your life, this program is for you. It is created to keep your pet’s skin, coat, nails, and haircut in manageable condition with little help from you between appointments. If we groom your pet every six weeks or less, you’ll earn our Standing Appointment Discount of $5.00 off your pet’s regular base price.
This program is designed for those pets that really share your life and sometimes even your bed! With today’s gentle products, dogs and cats can easily be bathed weekly or biweekly without risk of drying out the skin or coat. Some pets have coats that require a bit more maintenance between grooms to keep them in the most advantageous condition. If you don’t want to brush between grooms or your pet has ‘too much fun’ outside, this program is for you. It is steeply discounted and is custom created weekly or biweekly based on the needs of you and your pet. Please request a personal quote from our staff based on your desires to keep your pet looking and feeling its best.
All of us who entered this profession did so because we followed a dream, a passion - we simply love animals! So much so, we opted to make them our career. Not all careers or job opportunities start this way. Our students who have chosen this path are truly fortunate to be able to follow their dreams.
We recognize there are multiple styling choices for your pet. Many dogs that are traditionally hand-stripped or shown in a natural full coat are clipper-cut in the pet world. We always encourage pet stylists to closely adhere to breed standards trimming practices. However, sometimes it isn’t feasible for the pet, the owner, or the stylist. Our role is to help you select the styling option that will make you and your pet happy. We’re happy to assist you in learning about proper pet hygiene or to show you how to brush between professional grooming. No matter what your request, we will never put the dog at risk of injury or loss of dignity. We always practice the ‘Golden Rule’ for all professional pet groomers and stylists -- humanity before vanity.
All grooming is done by students under the watchful eye of our talented trainers.
